Planning A Wedding That’s You!

  One of the most unique aspects of planning a

wedding is the ability to make to make it your own. Our team at Saiaf Films has attended countless weddings over the years, and one of the most intriguing aspects to a wedding are the little details that make it unique. Here, we would like to share our ideas for planning a wedding that is truly unique to you and your sweetheart.

Inspiration

It’s not like you plan weddings all the time. So chances are, you might need some help coming up with ideas for certain aspects of your wedding. That’s okay! The key is to gather, save and utilize inspiration. These days, you can scope out ideas nearly anywhere (check out our amazing galleries for some great ideas!) Whether it’s from your favorite wedding blog, or in a magazine at the grocery store, keep an eye out for anything that speaks to you. Don’t limit yourself to just wedding related sources either. Perhaps you saw an inspiring color in a flower you passed by, or maybe a centerpiece at a local restaurant really stood out? Whatever it is, if it really spoke to you, make a note of it and incorporate it into planning your wedding.

Dream It

One of the most exciting parts to planning a wedding is to visualize it before it even happens. Before you start making the major decisions, take some time to visualize your dream wedding. How big is it? How extravagant? Is it a simple backyard wedding with your closest friends and family? Or is it a grand scale event with everyone you know in attendance? What’s the style? Is it rustic? Vintage? Or classic? Even if your dream wedding is nowhere near feasible for you, it is still beneficial to dream it up. That way, when the real plans come around, you can still find ways to tie in some ideas from your dream wedding.

Remember, it’s about you!

And your fiance, of course. Don’t worry too much about what everyone else will be thinking. Obviously, you want to plan within reason- but try to find ways to incorporate the things that really matter. Such as you and your fiance! Maybe you both have certain hobbies or skills in common? Why not find subtle ways to share that with your guests? Perhaps you share a similar heritage and want to incorporate that into the theme of your wedding? People enjoy hearing or observing the little things that make the two of you who you are- so don’t be afraid to express some of those fun little details.

Planning a wedding will be one of the most exciting things you ever do! So make it yours and enjoy every minute of it. Besides. It’s those little details that make your special day stand out above any other!
